Product Description
The Tension/Anchor Clamps are used for anchoring Insulated Messenger Wire of Ariel Bunch Cables on Poles. The messenger wire is gripped with the Clamp by self adjusting plastic wedges which clamp the messenger wire without any damage to the insulated parts. The flexible wire helps to easily movable of the Clamps and also for using many clamps on single pole. Tension/Anchor Clamps are used with Aluminium Bracket attached with SS Tape and buckles with the Poles.

Engineered for Overhead ABC Cable SystemsThis tension clamp is purpose-built for stabilizing and anchoring insulated wires in overhead ABC cable installations. Its design, including a robust rectangular shape and cable groove, ensures secure tensioning over a wide conductor diameter range. Manufactured as per international standards, it offers excellent performance and reliability.
Superior Materials for Long-Term DurabilityCombining galvanized steel and high-grade aluminium alloys (LM6/LM25), the clamp provides high tensile strength alongside impressive corrosion and UV resistance. This makes it suitable for challenging outdoor environments, reducing the need for frequent replacements and maintenance.
FAQs of Tension Clamp For Insulated Wire:
Q: How is the Tension Clamp installed on insulated overhead cables?
A: The clamp features a universal eye fitting and a bolted structure, allowing for straightforward installation with common tools. It securely anchors and tensions insulated conductors within its supported range of 16 mm to 150 mm, ensuring reliable cable retention.
Q: What standards does the Tension Clamp comply with?
A: This product is manufactured to conform with IEC 61284 and EN 50483 standards, which ensures its suitability for international power distribution systems and compatibility with global safety requirements.
Q: When should the Tension Clamp be used in cable networks?
A: The clamp should be used during the installation or maintenance of overhead ABC cables where tensioning and support for insulated conductors are required, especially in environments demanding resistance to corrosion and ultraviolet exposure.
Q: Where is the Tension Clamp for Insulated Wire typically applied?
A: It finds application in outdoor utility and power distribution networks, particularly in regions requiring aerial bundled cable systems. It is ideal for installation on street poles, transmission lines, and supporting infrastructure.
Q: What is the process of securing cables with this clamp?
A: Cables are placed within the shaped groove of the clamp and then fastened using the bolted mechanism. The universal eye fitting can be mounted to various supports, providing strong grip and strain relief for the cable.
Q: What are the main benefits of using this Tension Clamp?
A: Key benefits include long-lasting corrosion and UV resistance, robust mechanical performance, compatibility with multiple cable sizes, and compliance with major international electrical standards. This ensures reduced maintenance and enhanced operational safety.
